Burglars escape with large haul of valuables

THIEVES escaped with a swag bag full of glittering jewellery and electrical equipment when they burgled a Ramsey home.
The theft happened between 4pm on Wednesday, January 2 and 1pm the following day at a home in Marriotts Drove, Ramsey Mereside.
The haul included:
n A rare 18ct gold vintage bracelet with orange garnets.
n An 18ct white gold chain with blue topaz pendant and matching earrings.
n A white gold chain with a small round pendant with a central bright pink stone, surrounded by white stones.
n A 9ct white gold chain and stick pendant with cubic zircona stones at intervals down the pendant.
n A silver charm bracelet with approx 20 silver charms including: a tortoise, dolphins, a boot, a book that opens, a barrel that opens, a half circle with a spinning plate with half letters on each side of the plate so that when it spins it says “I love you”.
n A stainless steel Citizen eco-drive watch.
n A Rotary lady’s stainless steel watch with mechanical movement and rectangular sides.
Offenders also stole a Fuji Finepix digital camera 31Fd and 2mb extra memory card, and a Sony Ericsson K310i mobile phone.
Detective Constable Nicky Boxall said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between these times.
“We would also like to speak to anyone who believes they may have been offered any of these items for sale.”
