cards, magnets and thank you cards and is offered at a great value. For

ordered online and delivered to the couple in as little as three business
days.

“When I was pricing out invitations, my jaw dropped at the prices I was
seeing,” said Amy Garganta, a
bride-to-be and VistaPrint customer. “I had used VistaPrint in the past,
trusted their quality and knew that the price could not be beat. When
looking at the designs, it was very convenient that there was a link below
the thumbnail showing what other products my design matched to. This
feature made it easy to design our save the date and thank you cards as
well.”

Couples looking to create unique custom high-quality, low-cost invitations and other products for their wedding have a
variety of options and designs to choose from. Similar to other products
offered, VistaPrint’s
wedding-themed options are simple to create and order with customers simply
selecting a design and customizing the text. All of the designs may be
personalized in a number of ways, including uploading and adding a photo to
the invitations. As always, designs can also be uploaded from scratch for
an even more personalized design choice. Customers looking to order
invitations, save-the-dates, thank you cards and other wedding themed
products should simply log onto www.vistaprint.com/weddings .

“Traditionally custom printed products, including invitations and thank you
cards, can take up a significant chunk of the overall wedding budget. In
these economic times we know that customers are looking for the most value
for their hard-earned dollars,” said Melissa Crowe, vice president of
marketing services at VistaPrint. “Over the years our customers have turned
to us for elegant, high-quality products that allow them to make a positive
first impression for their big day

Old laundry ideas? Give ‘em a rinse

0 Comments | Philadelphia Inquirer, The, February, 2006 | by Michael Walsh

One of the clearest examples of how our homes work against us rather than for us is often found in the spaces that house washers and dryers. Whether they’re in basements, mudrooms, garage entries, or cramped closets, laundry areas often make doing the wash even more of a chore than it has to be.

Historically, finding space for laundry equipment has been an absurdly low priority in home design. The rationale is that most of us are reluctant to give up living space. But if you have to relegate your washer to a remote dungeon, how valuable is a two-story entry hall?

In this culture, laundry is typically denigrated to the status of drudgery

Forsys Metals Corp.: Further Update to Termination of GFI Agreement

Market Wire, September, 2009

On August 25, 2009, Forsys Metals Corp (TSX: FSY)(FRANKFURT: F2T)(NSX: FSY) (”Forsys” or the “Company”) terminated the arrangement agreement (the “Agreement”) with George Forrest International Afrique S.P.R.L. (”GFI”) because GFI had failed on several occasions dating back to March of this year to transfer the funds necessary to complete the arrangement. Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, the Company also demanded payment by GFI of the CAD$20,000,000 reverse break fee (the “Reverse Break Fee”).

As at the date of this announcement, GFI has not paid the Reverse Break Fee which was due to the Company on September 2, 2009. The following day (on September 3, 2009), the Company was served with a Statement of Claim that GFI had filed at the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) (the “Claim”) seeking damages of CAD$150,000,000 and a declaration that the Reverse Break Fee is not payable by GFI to the Company.

The Company is strongly of the view that the Claim is vexatious and has no merit, and the Company will vigorously pursue the payment of the Reverse Break Fee from GFI and/or George Forrest, who provided a personal guarantee, which is subject to the laws of Ontario, for such fee on April 2, 2009.

Duane Parnham, President and CEO stated “When the original transaction was announced in November 2008, GFI confirmed to the Company that it would finance the acquisition with cash on hand and existing credit facilities. However, GFI was unable to pay by the due date under the Agreement of March 15, 2009 and sought an extension

* Where to Stick Your Plugs: Our electronic gadgets are getting the better of us and Belkin offers a solution–to the energy sucking if not the excess wires. It’s a Conserve Energy-Saving Surge Protector with Remote Switch ($49.99 for an 8-outlet; $59.99 for a 10) that allows you to power only what you need. Two of the outlets are “always on” for things like your wireless router and cordless phone. The others are remote-switched outlets for your computer, scanner, TV, phone charger and anything else you only need on in designated intervals. The surge protector’s cord length is a generous four feet. The sleek remote goes in a wall holder, has a range of 60 feet and can control multiple Conserve Surge Protectors. It will eliminate all green construction ca the “phantom loads” (the energy lost when appliances remain plugged in when turned off), saving $50/year on energy costs according to the company.

* How to Get Your Neighbor’s Attention: If you stick a few Practical Solar Home Heliostats in your backyard, your neighbors might just think you’re trying to communicate with alien lifeforms. These square, pole-mounted mirrors that track the sun provide as much light per unit as 40 100-watt lightbulbs and the solar heat of a medium-sized space heater. The heliostats shoot their light and heat through your home windows and skylights, but, rest assured, this will not lead to blindness or setting your home on fire. Each produces 3,000 times more power than it consumes–though only during the day and when the sun is shining. Good for clean, green supplemental heating and lighting–provided you’ve got $995 for the heliostat and $345 for the control system to go with it.
