(OTC Bulletin Board: ISCR), a leading provider of life-saving prescription drugs, home testing products for the chronically ill, a leading fulfillment provider of direct to patient diabetes programs and a leading developer of e-health technology and revolutionary cell phone centric technologies and products announced today its intent to file multiple updated and enhanced patent and trademark applications covering its cell phone centric technologies with the United States Patent and Trademarks Office. The company concurrently announced its initial parallel marketing strategy for its revolutionary cell phone centric products after contact from two well known, medical and healthcare firms.
In February 2009 Congress passed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (”the Stimulus”). Later in February 2009 the Obama Administration announced additional health industry cost saving initiatives and proposed incentives to physicians. Taken together the Stimulus and the Administration proposals are intended to drive the health and medical industries to rapidly transition from inefficient and costly paper dependent providers to an instantaneous electronic mechanism for conducting medical business. The Stimulus provides cash incentives to physicians for the adoption of electronic medical records (EMR and EHR) technologies through a system that will pay physicians $44,000 (and up to $64,000) from a fund created by the federal government that reminds of the highly popular and recently ended “Cash for Clunkers” program.
